Dexter Physiotherapy P.C. has been providing physiotherapy to the people of Sussex and surrounding areas for the last 6+ years. Dexter Physiotherapy is committed to delivering personalized, high quality, and evidence-based physiotherapy treatment that is designed to help reduce your suffering and make your life easier. The process includes customized therapeutic exercises, manual therapy (hands on treatment), and modalities to assist you in natural pain relief(LASER, electrotherapy, Acupuncture, to name a few).
Clinic staff has experience and taken additional training in using Physiotherapy for treating neck pain and headaches, shoulder injuries, mid back and lower back pain, hip pain, ankle, knee and foot pain, sports related injuries, concussion, car accident recovery, and provides rehabilitation leading up to and after surgery (shoulder, back, knee, hip, ankle, etc).
Dexter Physiotherapy offers custom fit DonJoy knee braces. Custom knee braces may be an excellent option if you have suffered and ACL injury, ACL surgery, meniscus injury or surgery, and may help with knee pain from Osteoarthritis.
Jesse Dexter, PT completed his undergraduate degree at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2012. After completion of his undergraduate degree he went on to attend Dalhousie University in Halifax, graduating with a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy in 2015 and becoming registered with the College of Physiotherapists of New Brunswick. Since graduating from Dalhousie in 2015, Jesse has spent nearly a decade practising as a Physiotherapist and expanding his clinical skill set by attending additional post-graduate educational courses in Acupuncture, treatment of complex Cervico-Thoaracic pain disorders, treatment of Complex Upper Extremity and Shoulder disorders, treatment of Complex Lower Extremity and Knee disorders, earned certification in administering the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), and completed the Complete Concussion Management certification course (40hrs of training).
